    Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere but I didn’t like the way in which we were hurried over dinner. Bringing the bill without even asking for it because the table was needed wasn’t great.

    Food was ok. Starters…soups ok. Beetroot..felt like it was straight out of a jar..not pleasant. Mains…Sea Bream and cod were beautifully cooked. The steak and lamb were overcooked. Desserts…all very good. We ordered glasses of port to finish with our server…whilst waiting…another senior manager said our time was up and we needed to vacate our table. We said we had ordered ports…she didn’t look best pleased. I know a busy time of year, I knew there was a time limit..we were 15 minutes inside this limit however. There is absolutely no excuse to bang down the glasses on the table. Totally unforgivable imo. We shouldn’t have paid the service charge in all honesty. It did tarnish the night…which was a family celebration. We won’t be returning.

    TOURIST TRAP!! Extremely disappointing. Poor service, steak frites was all grizzle and not a proper entrecôte. Overpriced. Go to The Ivy instead and skip this place.
