What started out as a casual deli and bakery has evolved into a full-service eatery with menus that feature a variety of traditional and southern-style dishes. We use fresh, seasonal, high-quality ingredients and source locally when possible. You won't want to miss our famous Fried Green Tomatoes or Shrimp & Grits when you visit Savannah!

    What a wonderful brunch experience my wife and I had at this hidden gem in Savannah's historic district. We were looking for a restaurant to enjoy a nice breakfast and found this one. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. Our server was wonderful and answered our questions and provided exceptional service. Our brunch orders arrived quickly and they were incredible. The next time we visit Savannah we plan to try our B. Matthews for dinner!!! This restaurant is a must visit!!!

    Our dinner tonight was delicious. We both had a generous Caesar salad to start and the salmon entre. The salmon was prepared perfectly and the flavors worked together beautifully. The restaurant exceeeded expectations, and I highly recommend.

    Enjoyed the gluten-free entrees but no gluten-free appetizers or dessert were available for half of our party of four. Service was perfunctory but not friendly. All and all, we enjoyed our meal

    Great dining experience. Quickly seated after arriving- our table was waiting on us. Wait staff arrived promptly. Food was prepared in a timely manner and was exceptional in taste and quality. Highly recommend!

    Best brunch ever! Fried green tomato crab cake benny was the best thing I ate while in Savannah. The chicken n' biscuit with pimento cheese was outstanding as well. A must visit for brunch while in Savannah!

    My wife and I had breakfast and it was very good. She had the shrimp and grits, while I had the chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. The pimento cheese really elevated the chicken biscuit dish. The only thing I would say is if you serve it open faced, then all the ingredients need to be on both sides. Luckily I ate the side without the pimento cheese first, otherwise I would have been supremely disappointed in the second half of my meal.
