The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city.

Please note: reservations for Summerlicious open on June 29, and will be available online only.

Wonderful evening at Auberge du Pommier. We went for a special occasion, my parents were in town, and they took great care of us. Detailed service, food was good, the ambiance and the vibe super cozy.

Food is mediocre, the duck confit is dry and lack of the usual duck flavors. Foie Gras was soggy. Given the high price point of this establishment, one can find much better value at plenty of alternatives. However, our server, Michael, provided excellent service.

I went here during winterlicious and had some expectations since the place been there for awhile with some recognition. Things that we have order were these: Starter - Pain au Lait, Salade Lyonnaise, Terrine de Canard Main - Beouf Dessert - Baba au Rhum, Tarte au citron Starters were okay but with given price it’s underwhelming. Bread was fresh and well cooked and salad was decent but have had better. The most problematic dish was our main. The beouf was very tiny portioned and sides were at best mediocre. Not to mention we had a plastic in between the layer of potato but that wasn’t the worst part. All the components from the dish were bland and side were cold. It was just not it I would just go to keg for a better steak and side. Dessert were fine you can’t go wrong with Tarte au Citron. Only person that holding it up during our course was the pastry chef. I can’t really tell that the quality of the dish would be same for a la carte. However I believe winterlicious is a showcase of their restaurant and I can’t tell they don’t want us back.
