   Food was good,but my steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out raw. They fixed it but then quality was compromised. The Chilean Sea Bass special for $59 was very small. Not a portion that would fill up anyone. More like an appetizer portion. However it did taste good. Expensive for what we got.

   Stars don't go high enough for this place. The food, service, just everything was impeccable. We spent 2 hrs there just enjoying all it had to offer. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The food was divine. The manager stopped by to check, and when we gave a most favorable report, said good with a grin and chuckle, I'll let the chef know he can come back tomorrow. Make sure to also walk around and check out the artwork. We had beef cappuccino for the appetizer, filet, mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach and Elk chop with a Blueberry and goat cheese reduction for dinner. Blueberry bread pudding for dessert. Will most definitely return.

   We had never heard of Aspen Grille but it was my birthday and we were looking for something intimate and romantic and also delicious. Well, we found it! We were seated right away in a small, quiet dining room with white tablecloths and small touch-controlled lamps on each table. We started with a dozen P.E.I oysters and they did NOT disappoint! I had the scallop cake (as opposed to a crab cake) and my husband had the wedge salad. The salad was a wedge of romaine with seasoning and dressing - very fresh and very well done. The scallop cake was insanely delicious. The waiter explained that the chef only brought the scallop cake back for Valentines Day weekend and I understand why. These are HARD to make. Scallops are hard to cook properly anyway, but to create a melt-in your-mouth scallop in a crab cake-like form? Impossible. But the chef did it! Fantastic! The. I had the golden tile (fish) on a bed of string beans and rice topped with crabmeat. Very rich, perfectly done, so delicious. My husband got the grouper with Hoppin John. Highly recommend you try this. The Hoppin John is made with some exotic Moroccan spices that give this classic southern dish a whole new dimension. Oh! And there is a full bar and extensive wine list. We were impressed that there were full bottles AND splits for some beverage choices. That gives the diner more options for the meal. For example, we started with a split of champagne and had a full bottle of wine with the meal. The waitstaff took great care of us and took the time to explain the dishes, the restaurant, and the philosophy behind the dish. The sommelier also took his time with us and provided the history of the wines and champagnes. There is great attention to detail. Fantastic for special occasions and romantic dinners…. The Aspen Grille is a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach.

   Such a great Valentines dinner. From the red velvet espresso martini starter, through the last course, we had an amazing experience. Lamb appetizer was on-point, sea bass was cooked to perfection and the KC strip was perfect. Salads and desserts were also enjoyable. Our server was incredible, fun and engaging. Price Fix menu was a true value and we’d do it all over again. Thanks for such a great evening.

   We ate early 5pm so we could hear everything so it’s hard to judge noise level. The food fantastic, our server Mike fantastic, wine choice great we loved our experience but there was nothing unique to make Aspen Grille different. We had 2 starters, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine and 1 cocktail with tip $300

   Food and service were very good. Melissa treated us very well. I always enjoy dining at Aspen Grille. My only complaint is the credit card surcharge. I understand it has become quite common. I feel that a restaurant in this price point should incorporate that surcharge into their menus price.

    We wanted to try Aspen grill to see if we wanted to hold a birthday dinner with family there. No. The service was average, the steak was good, but not exceptional, the grouper was dry and the prices for what was delivered were high. We will find another restaurant in the area
