    First time dining there and probably my favorite place to eat in Litchfield! I had scallops and my husband got the Halibut. Scallop dish was the best I have ever had!

    Excellent from start to finish. I really can't say enough in praise of this restaurant. The food was exquisite and the service was terrific. When the final bill came, I was actually pleasantly surprised and felt that we'd received great value for our dining dollars. My only critique is that I think they could do more to highlight their non-alcoholic cocktails. I had to ask the server whether they offer any because they did not appear on the menu. I ended up with one that was interesting and satisfying. So I would suggest that the restaurant consider developing and highlighting these options more prominently

    We were sat late for our 7pm reservation (7:20), which I thought was not great, especially since they have a pretty strict dining policy. Once sat, our server did also take a while to even come to the table. Once we finally ordered, our first course came fairly quickly but the entree took a really long time! They seemed really busy, but for a place that's that hard to even get a reservation at, I would appreciate more prompt seating and service. What's the point of a reservation if you're still having to wait 20 minutes standing at the bar?!?

    I loved my experience at Arethusa! It was charming, wonderful, wonderful food and great service. It was everything I was hoping it would be. . fresh, organic food, creatively arranged with flavors that complemented each other. The food was perfectly cooked and arranged beautifully. I've eaten in many high end and Michelin starred restaurants and this was in the top 2 or 3 of my most enjoyable and warmly casual.
