Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.



Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.



The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.



We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

                                  Always fabulous fresh oysters! Good service. The noise level was extreme last night. A huge table of about 15 men nearby and we could barely hear each other.

                                  Enjoyed our first-time experience! Service was outstanding and the food was very good. The raw bar selections were great, as were the fried greet tomatoes and fried oysters. Bouillabaisse was a big hit.

                                  We had a seat next to the doors that open onto the street. It was a nice atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was excellent! My husband had the burger which he said was very good. Our server Kenny was very good. I would definitely go back to Amen.

                                  While amen street has been here since 2009 we have never made it in for food, only drinks. The drinks are amazing, unique crafted cocktails that are blended perfectly! But today was all about food. My food was delish, perfect temp, seasoning, and portions! Fried oysters are to die for and the tacos hit the spot! 100% will be making this a regular spot!
