Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.



Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.



The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.



We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

                                  While amen street has been here since 2009 we have never made it in for food, only drinks. The drinks are amazing, unique crafted cocktails that are blended perfectly! But today was all about food. My food was delish, perfect temp, seasoning, and portions! Fried oysters are to die for and the tacos hit the spot! 100% will be making this a regular spot!

                                  We had a reservation at the bar, and had a wonderful meal. We had oysters that were so fresh I was amazed! The main dishes were wonderful and the service was the best. This is one of my favorite downtown restaurants.

                                  We choose Amen St Restaurant as our primary choice to celebrate our wedding anniversary’s, 40 years in 2025. The seared salmon dish is like a dessert and the seared scallops were awesome. We topped it off by sharing the chocolate cheesecake. Our server Ashley is the best, she has been our server before. We are from Nelson County VA, we love Charleston!

                                  Everything was delicious! She-crab soup, calamari steak, bourbon glazed salmon and New Bedford scallops. Perfect! Danielle was a lovely, happy server. We enjoyed it immensely!
