Alba consistently delivers a high quality dining experience. Des Moines best restaurant in my book. Really excellent food! The only thing I don’t love is all the hard surfaces makes it loud when it’s busy.

Had moderately high expectations and I still consider it one of the best dining experiences i have had in my lifetime. PERFECT for anniversaries.

Great find in Des Moines! I went twice on my two night stay and was not disappointed. The first night I sat at the bar with Sam. The service was terrific and my fillet, medium rare, was delicious. The star of the evening was the potatoes (pave) served in a sizzling skillet. The second evening was a work dinner - agin the service table side was very good and the food was delicious. This time I had the grilled duroc pork chop. A little past my perfect temperature but still juicy and delicious. The Cabernet choices by Sam were perfect on both evenings. I’d say don’t miss this restaurant when you’re in Des Moines!

Steak was undercooked. My wife ordered a salad with no cheese and it came with cheese.

We shared an early dinner at Alba, 5:00 reservations, and we had a delightful experience with great service, ambience, food, and wine. Both our main dishes, a pork chop and scallops were perfectly seasoned and cook. We’ll continue going to this restaurant!

The restaurant interior is beautiful and the views out their large windows are lovely. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was the perfect choice for our anniversary celebration.
