We have eaten at Agave many times over many years. Each time in the past, it has been a delightful experience. This most previous experience was not so delightful. We were seated in the bar area at a 4 top. This is not an area that I enjoy, but that is on me as I did not say anything to remedy the situation to the host. Our server seemed nice enough but a bit overwhelmed. He did not introduce himself and we then did not ask his name. It took a little bit for him to return to the table to let us know of the specials and then take our order. Two of us ordered the chicken enchilada entree. This is an entree I have ordered several times. It was pretty dry and rather without much flavor. The typically delicious charro beans were bland and undercooked. It was loud and difficult to have a normal range conversation. Not our best experience overall.

I have been coming to Agave when in Atlanta for work for the past 20 years. It never disappoints! The enchiladas and fried chicken are my personal favorites, as well as the guacamole and margaritas! The staff is great too!

We had a wonderful dinner! The server was great for our party of 10. We were celebrating a birthday and the service did not lack not one bit! The food was top tier!!! The birthday girl was extremely happy and everybody was very happy with their food! Highly recommend!!!

Agave is staple in my portfolio of restaurants have been coming for years . It’s become more popular in more recent years so I prefer to come on weekdays when it’s less crowded . Great Southwest cuisine and awesome margaritas!
