One of my favorite places before shows around the opera house. The food is always predictably good, and it was mostly good this time. My husband loved his pea soup and beef bourguignon, I had a dungeness crab salad and a grilled octopus served on potatoes and garnish, both were very flavorful, however, both were overly salted for my taste. I find that to be a trend these days with most restaurants, which I do not understand, as a customer can Always add salt, but you can't take the salt away from the dish already prepared, so why make it more on the salty side? I am not overly sensitive, just looking for the right balanced flavor profile, and both my dishes were too salty.

We very much enjoyed our dinner. The ambience was definitely that of a brasserie. Quiet and comfortable. The service was excellent and knowledgeable. We stayed with the crab salad and squid which were both delicious. Main courses were tuna carpaccio and gnocchi, also very delicious. Chocolate pot du cremé was dessert, just great.

All the food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were creative, fun, and sooo good. Our server Emma was simply the best. She was fun, kind, professional and had the best recommendations. Loved it! Would recommend and will be back again :)
