   Food was good but the portions were tiny. Would have preferred a wine list. Service were polite but slow based on the ratio of people there were supporting. It was nice to try it once.

   Brilliant place for a relaxed catch up with friends. Amazing food and the fish fingers in particular are sensational. The well thought out, interesting and concise menu is topped off by an unbelievably great wine cellar and staff you should let take you on a journey with their knowledge (and if you’re brave - eclectic) selections.

   We have been eating at Bodega since it opened on commonwealth st and it was one of our favourite restaurants for many years. We have also eaten at Wyno previously and been wowed - sadly we will not be returning to this or any of Porteno Groups restaurants - their “no wine list” meant we were basically price shamed and ignored for 10mins and had no idea what the price of the wine we were purchasing until the 2nd glass of warm rose. Mushroom dish which were fabulous last time had a overcooked egg and lacked any wow factor . I don’t recommend this restaurant and won’t be returning.

   This has been one of my favourite restaurants for many years. I often come here and love the unique twist on their small yet very tasty menu. So my review is in reference to the last two dinner reservations… Last night unfortunately did not hit the mark again. Menu and ingredients were very basic. The menu was not impressive at all. Trying to cut costs was very evident. The Wagyu was over cooked and completely disappointing. But the worst part is that the portions were reduced down to less than half and were incredibly small. We used to be able to share a plate between 3-4. Now it’s a mouth full for one, quite embarrassing wouldn’t you say. We ordered everything off the menu. And we left hungry and $450 later… on a good note, service was excellent (as always) I rave about this restaurant to everyone. But now I think i will need to take a break for a little while.

   Wonderful service from friendly staff! Only had the octopus....sooo tender and tasty and the cheesecake....just stupidly rich and delightful. Excellent wines.
